Hi. I am looking at replacing a dilapedated garage at my new property in hamilton north, Newcastle. Wondering if any of the Newy locals on this forum might recommend a reasonable priced efficient builder. Also looking at plumbers as going to put in toilet/shower in garage as down the track plan to do grannyflat conversion. Anyone have recommendations of someone they have used before or any definately dont use people...!

Just a suggestion, but why build a new garage and then down the track convert to a grany flat? IMO you'd be better off spending the $50-60K now and getting a $200pw return on it, than spending $10-20K for a garage and getting an increae in weekly rent of $10-15 per week
