LPG or electric hot water

I have the option of installing LPG bottles for gas hot water, or to use an electric water system For my new granny flat build

If LPG, the tenant still pays for the bottle refills.

With one would you give to a prospective tenant?

Do the gas bottles get used up too quickly ?

The tenant pays for the gas but as the LL you pay for the rent on the cylinders. Also the pilot light uses the gas.

I'd suggest you go electric heat pump.

What about gas cooking , or should I just go with electric ?
I assume to fill these LPG bottles, the truck needs to have access to the property ?

Gas bottles can be refilled from a long hose from the truck or swapped over with full for empty depending on the gas supplier you choose.

I'd go electric for an IP in this case.
