So currently you can get 95% LTV, curious how this figure has changed over time? How much was it 10 years ago? 20 years ago? 30 years... etc is there a graph of this

dunno bout the number back beyond 2000. but certainly 95s were around back then

Mortgage insurers made it possible for the lenders to transfer risk from the bank to the LMI provider.

No graph, but I recently found my loan documentation from 1997.

I only had 10% deposit and I was "supposed" to have 10%, but ended up getting finance although it was P&I on a 12 year term!
