In some of the posts I've read they say to buy below the median price for the suburb. Is that regardless of whether it is a house or unit/villa/townhouse I'm buying?
I presume that a unit/villa etc would be cheaper than buying a house in the same suburb so the median price for the whole suburb would not give a true median price of units etc would it? Do I need to find out the median price for units etc that have been sold and go by that? Would somewhere like the Valuer Generals office be able to provide this?
