Sorry for all the confusion! We posted a meeting time for Brisbanites to meet and exchange ideas however the email address given to RSVP has been playing up so the new RSVP email is [email protected].

Hi Everybody,

We have been reading a number of investment books, including Jan's books, over the last few months, and I have to admit that it has been an extremely eye-opening educational experience. Until now, I thought that negative gearing was always the best way to invest.

There is a group of us who really want to begin investing. We have been reading the books, looking at websites and researching the property market in Brisbane. We appreciate that throughout the forum there are a number of threads from people asking the same questions. Rather than upset people with asking the same questions AGAIN, we would like to organise an evening next week for all the Brisbane people to get together, network and learn from each other. The invitation is open to anyone - experienced property investors, novice investors (like us), real estate specialists, and anyone else who is genuinely interested in meeting and learning about property investment.

When: Tuesday 1st May, 2001 (next Tuesday)
Where: Coffee Club, Brunswick Street
Brunswick Central
Time: 7:00pm

We would really like to see Brisbane people get-together and learn, like they are in other states in Australia. People in NSW and VIC are getting together to exchange ideas so lets get this up and running in Queensland too!
