An indirect approach is to ask a friendly agent, whom would have access to specialised sale information (eg. PD-Online database).

There may be a time lag though.

19 Frederick Street Caulfield South sold on 2nd December for $1,680,000. Originally passed in for $1,610,000 on the 25th October.

For Cheeseman it was passed in following a vendor bid so it sold after

Do you have access to the sale price for 95 Union Street Prahran/Windsor ?

The sale price was also undisclosed and I have been meaning to call up the agent and ask nicely.

this has always intrigued me a little, was renting in north caulfield and noticed a high number of sales in the area were undisclosed.

is it just a privacy thing?

It sounds like these figures are still recorded so the non-disclosure of the sales have no impact on RE statistics...
