I was a Postie with Australia Post, got to deliver the mail and the male.
No seriously, this was one of the best jobs I ever had. 21 years of age racing around the streets on a little scooter. Had a round where hardly anyone cared for their lawns. My own little race track.
Got to go home as soon as I'd finished delivering the round. Use to start at 6:00am, finish around 10:30am, paid for the whole day.....I hear it's a little different these days though.
My dad was a postie in sydney. He sent me a pic today at the exact minute when he started working there 46 years ago in Mosman. He is no longer a postie though.
I think my job is fun building houses. It is really satisfying seeing what you have just built.
