I think it has come up great, Now to re paint the house so any colour suggestions would be awesome, I hope i have added a little bit of value to my home with very little effort an money, Can not wait to start buying more!

Pavers- $600
Sleepers- Free
Grass 150sqm- Free ( My boss over ordered) The front yard only needed 80sqm
Plants-$300
Cracker dust for paving-Free
Cement-$24
Hire equipment (wet saw, wacker plate, dingo- 300
Rio for the sleepers- 100
6t of top soil- $380
3 cubes of mulch $130

Thats about 1800 dollars give or take, I am a tiler by trade so do have a little idea of how things go togther, But it was my first time at landscaping an i realyy enjoyed it beats being in a bathroom all day!

The stuff up with the grass is because my boss had ordered 200sqm of grass, But they sent him 300sqm. Other wise my bill may have just creeped over 2k but not by much.

Bloody good work.

And so much more satisfying that signing some cheques to get someone else to do it for you.

Looks really good - much more than $2000.

Great work! Thanks for sharing!

Love the little pond as well. :) Is this in Kalgoorie? What's the climate like? Will it be easy to keep your grass that green and the whole yard looking lush?

Yeh mate it all has to be concrete edged. Or the pavers would move. It's all pave locked an wacked! Grass will grow fine here. Might die off a little with frost in winter. But will grow crazy in summer. I do have the best soil I could buy down. So hopefully it all works out well

what a transformation!! It looks great. Any tips on getting the paving right? Yours looks fantastic, and we have some to repair in our new PPOR.

Well done! I'm good at the inside bit but totally lost when it comes to yards and good, cheap way to make them look good. I'll keep your ideas in mind.First impressions make a great deal of difference.

Make sure your base is flat an compacted, Its all about keeping square and you cant stuff up, That did take me about 2 days lol

Yeh im so much better on the inside, Being a tiler helps alot. I like the sleeper idea. Its so bloody easy an works really well. And you can cover big areas quickly.
