Need an advice for: australianpropertyadvisoryservice.com.au

The way to start a portfolio is to decide what you want to achieve, go see a mortgage broker, then start buying houses and go put tenants in them.

Stop over complicating it.

I have IP portfolio business plan already. This company is offering me mortgage broker services and BA advisor.

I am just wondering if anyone used their services?

Thanks,

I don't know anything about this company but I generally recommend against going to a one stop shop, ie get your mortgage through a good broker and appoint a separate BA

I dont know much about the company either, but this is somewhat amusing

The finance specialists working for clients of the Australian Property Advisory Service always observe 3 essential principles when structuring finance;

Minimise risk to the PPR (principal place of residence)
Minimise fees (from banks and government)
Maximise tax effectiveness
Maximise clients? ability to pay less bank interest
Enhance our clients? ability to own their home sooner

I count more than 3......

Mind you my website is also rubbish, but out of the above, the only way I can think of reducing gov fees is to land and build or OTP...............

Dominican, I've been in financial planning for nearly 10 years and I strongly recommend you avoid working with a group that offers you advice/mortgage broking/buyers agent under one roof. One stop shops are almost always bad mojo.

If you want someone to hold your hand, there are several great mortgage brokers on here. I recommend contacting these ones and picking the one you feel most comfortable working with:

Rolf Latham (www.asapfinancial.com.au)
Corey Batt (www.xlfinancial.com.au)
Kinnon Bell (www.kineticfunding.com.au)
Peter Tersteeg (www.sagelending.com.au)

Unfortunately, I don't know any BA's in Brislantis, so can't help there. But the best thing to do is simply pick an area you like, do some research, come on here, ask some questions and go from there.

In relation to setting up your structure and tax and all that super fun stuff, I would talk to Paul Gerrard at Price Financial. His email is [email protected]. He's super good and will look after you really well.
