Need historical data for analysing property cycle

One interesting and useful way of trying to analysing where a suburb/city is in the property cycle is to look at a graph of 10 to 20 years of meidan prices.

Simple enough and most people know this. The problem I'm having is finding data in median prices for the last 10 to 20 years.

http://www.myrp.com.au will give 10 years of median prices for suburbs in their suburb reports

http://www.realestateview.com.au give 5 years of median prices for suburbs and can plot up to 5 suburbs at a time (nice feature)

Done google searches, searches on this forum (found lots of info resources) BUT I can't find any online source that will give 10-20 years of data FOR FREE for suburbs and cities.

Is this kind of data free anywhere or do you have to pay for it at sites like http://www.myrp.com.au/ and http://www.residex.com.au/ ?

Brendon,
There are no "free" resources for this.
You have to pay Residex, RPData or Pricefinder or ask a friendly REA or BA who has a subscription.
