NUmber of settlement days - starts from when?

Hello,

Just wondering.. if I agree to a 60 day settlement, does it start from when I sign the contract (which is conditional), or from when the contract goes unconditional? (ie, in a few weeks when finance is approved)

I would be thinking that the 60 days start from when the paperwork has been signed by both parties, and from the date of the contract as per item 1 (in Qld, that is.)

That is correct - date of signing by both parties - works in all states
