Offers on properties?

We are just about to buy our first IP!!!
I put in an offer this morning on a property, i will be also looking at other properties this morning.
My question is: can i put in multiple offers on multiple properties? Until i get the best deal on the best property??

Until you've signed the contract, you're not bound, so you could do this. Two offers may be considered reasonable, but if you put in ten offers with no intention of proceeding on more than one of them, you are 1) behaving unethically IMHO, and 2) will quickly become known to agents in the area as a time-waster.

You should only make an offer if you would proceed to signing a contract immediately if the offer is accepted.

Don't forget to include any conditions that you want - subject to finance, or building and pest, etc - with your offer.

I believe so. You can put a condition on the offer that it is only open for (x) amount of days.
