From memory, some of the most recent topics on the Forum were:
1: Buyer's Agents - there is yet to be a direct comment from anyone who has actually engaged a buyer's agent, but what about someone who has used a property consultant? Or their company has? A rose by any other name, of course but this is a fledgling industry in Australia - exclusive buyers agents seem to number less than twenty across all states, but is this a correct estimate?
2: Have you ever been to an auction where a buyers agent has been bidding? What was your opinion of their performance? Do you think that they were effective in assisting their client to purchase the property to the client's advantage?
3: What comments have you heard selling agents make about buying agents? Do you think the real estate industry itself actually understands the role of a buying agent?
