I wonder if anyone still be using parabolic antenna...it is very heavy...large...taking large size of land on the backyard....

How do you dispose it once it is no longer needed?

Anyone to share her/his experience ?

Find a nearby radio amateur who is into microwave transmissions.

They may be willing to remove it for you (especially if it's free!).

About 2m dish? Possibly made of black mesh?
There has been a few different services but the most common is C-band TV. These days mostly used for international satellite TV.
