Hello,

Does anyone know how was Parramatta like 20 or 30 years ago?

The Domain.com.au site says 69% dwelling in Parramatta are flat. Was Parramatta built from scratch? Or did people demolish the old houses and built the new high rise built there?

Parramatta today is very different place to 20-30 years ago.

Parramatta is a city which 80% would be made up of commercial and retail buildings, of the 20% left - 70% would be units (many high rise) and 30% houses, townhouses etc.


These figures are estimates and do not include the surrounding suburbs (i.e. Parramatta LGA)
