Hi all, looking to help my father in law as he now has a new job shuttling people from/to airport.

This means a lot of waiting around

I am after a small portable video player that that can plug into a cigarette lighter and play movies from USB or DVD.

Can't seem to find anything online. Anyone have any ideas if these exist ?

I thought you meant Player on Somersoft ... but pretty sure he doesn't plug into a cigarette lighter....

Portable DVD players are reasonably cheap these days, or perhaps invest in a tablet and get some movies for that!?

Yes, they do exist.
You might try at Dick Smith.
I think the one below sells for around $60.
