PM put in two lots of tenants from hell one after the other

Feel for this landlord "Rob"

Rob has a property in a quiet street then a PM puts in a tenant from hell next door to his

He was finally relieved this guy moves out after about 8 months. Many complaints about this TFH were made

Rob's poor tenants had to put up with this person next door an adult who had to have his mother on the lease or he couldnt rent. The mother never lived at the house just had her name on the lease.

After the first TFH leaves low and behold the same PM moves in another lot of TFH. A brother and sister who manage to bring in anyone they like as "visitors " who only are "visiting" and dont really live there so they say

For 12 months Rob has to put up with this 2nd lot of TFH who are disturbing his tenants yet again

His tenants had enough of the TFH next door so poor Rob lost his tenant who wants to go somewhere quiet

Rob approached the media for help. The PM then tries to sue this landlord for going to the media but Rob does not pay this PM a cent .

Rob is holding his breath as the house of horrors is up for rental again and wondering if the PM will put in a third lot of TFH ??

Have to feel for some landlords like Rob

Rob shouldnt have to sell up because an agent puts in Tenants From Hell. He has had the property for ten years.

Its time PM do the right thing and screen tenants better

Sometimes tenants have to take responsibility.

We own a street with 5 properties on it. Three of these tenants have dogs.
One bunch called us at 11 pm the other complaining about the neighbour's dog. He was coming into their yard.

Yesterday we issued everyone on that street a letter. It stated as landlords, we can legally only do so much. First they are to speak to the offending neighbour, because they may not be aware their noise level, or dog howling/wandering is bothering anyone.
If that doesn't improve the situation they are to call animal control or the RCMP...basically take control of the situation..and we are not your parents.

Tenants From Hell

In my agency it is the owners of the property who have the last say in who they accept, can you not get hold of the owners and let them know what is happening? Maybe they are blissfully unaware of the situation.

There are many ways to get tenants to leave a property ...from Notice to Remedy to QCAT (Qld) to just asking them politely (believe it or not this has actually worked for me in the past).

All the best of luck with this. It is a horrible situation to be in.
