Polished Granite vs Marble

Think I just missed a really big Australia Day / Carrara Marble Blue.

Have Carrara marble in my bathrooms, looks rubbish after 15 years. Who needs a surface you need to seal every year?

Apologies if I interrupted someone's argument.

I am actually thinking no way marble now, I don't want the additional work, had no idea I needed to seal it every year.

Got too much work as it is.

Liberally wipe the sealer on the surface, leave a hour or 2 while you go shopping, buff off. Not that hard. Its about time management.

You do wipe your benches don't you?

How expensive is it to seal a standard size benchtop (marble) then? Pinkboy

Good sealers cost retail around $100 per litre. You only need a fraction of that for a benchtop, so the same bottle will last you most likely the term you stay in the house (on average).
