Port Macquarie any opinions please

had a quick glance, not my scene unfortunately..areawill surely be targeting FHB'ers looking at what the builders are offering as options for the site....ill stick to chasing something on the beach..thanks for the heads up though.
 
It's not for me either csc but I see it as a positive for the shire that Lewis Land Group is investing heavily in the area. I'm with you at the beach mate. :cool:
 
...should have purchased a house at bondi junction in 1986 for $120k...i saw it sold late in 2007 for 1.8 mill....had a reno on it..... large block to boot but still a nice little earner.....not a bad nest egg for 19 years....

And picking the right suburb. My folks bought their place in Castle Hill in 1988 for $235k, spent $35k renoing and sold for $275k in 1995. Who says property doubles every 7 years?? Now probably only worth $700k if no additional renos have been added since. If only they knew the sea change and inner city phenomena was going to take over in the decades to come.
