we are having problems getting maintenance followed up by the strata manager. for example 2 years ago it was agreed at the AGM that a rear fence would be repaired/replaced. still waiting.
the strata manager says she is waiting on quotes to be agreed by the presiding officer. so far there have been 6 quotes in that time.
the PO could be holding things up too. we have not been able to get a reply from him via email or phone.
the strata manager also when asked today, for a copy of the management agreement, requested 2 weeks ago, has emailed that she is waiting for the PO to sign the agreement before she can send it to us.
it seems odd that no management contract has been signed since the last AGM in april 2010?
she said that the agreement was decided at the AGM so the contract although not signed is in place?
we believe we have a right to see a copy of contract re the strata management with this company? we also wonder if the contract in place, is valid if it is not signed by the PO?
this is very frustrating and not the experience we have with other strata property we have with another manager.
any comments.
