No doubt this has been asked before, but I would like to know if anyone is using and recommends purchasing property investment software.
I have found a couple of products and am wondering if such software is useful for keeping track of the properties I have bought. Here they are:
Property Investment Calculator (Windows & Mac)
http://www.propertyinvestmentsoftware.com.au
Investment Property Calculator (Windows only)
http://www.investmentpropertycalculator.com.au
If anyone is using or has used them or can recommend other similar software I would appreciate your input.
I would really like to be able to understand the status of my properties, taking into account purchase costs, loans, rental income, repairs etc. I want to understand how my investment is performing and be able to know what kind of profit (or loss!) I would have if I were to sell at some time in the future based on all the costs etc. involved.
No doubt that all the above can be done in Excel, but I don't mind paying (a few hundred dollars, if need be...) to make the whole process clear cut and simple. Considering the outlays I have made for the properties I feel a few hundred dollars would be well spent.
Thanks in advance!
