Property Meeting Perth: 25 Feb Value-Add Projects that Make Money! (Session 2)

Welcome to the second meeting of the year, last month we had a great turn-out with nearly 40 people learning some great things and having plenty of opportunity to network. Why not come along this month, we have another two great speakers.

This month: Back to basics. Renovations Part 2! Last month Adam covered how to research and analyse potential deals quickly and methodically so that you would be able to identify your next gold mine, so the next deal wouldn't be an if but when, he even laid out his weekly routine including the best days to contact agents and get out into the field. This month Adam will be going into more detail on the renovation itself and Ryan will be going into more detail on how to maximise your finances with a focus on renovations.

Our Speakers

Welcome back Adam Barry, who is an experienced local property investor. Adam started investing in property in 2009 and has achieved some fantastic results. He has undertaken a range of value-add projects including renovations, subdivision and developments and done quite well out of them, progressively taking on larger challenges. Anyone who knows Adam would agree he has a methodical approach to his investing especially after his presentation last month. His approach to locating deals and managing projects is something every investor should be using. This session will be going into more detail on renovations covering the very important topics of how to buy the property and how to manage the deal, estimates on costing to help you with your numbers based on real deals, as well as how to get the best price. It will be another great presentation.

Ryan Rawlins from Purely Finance has been working in the finance field since 2006, he holds a Diploma of Finance Services and has assisted many investors in getting finance for their varied projects. However Ryan is also a very active property investor so he looks at finance and lending from an investors point of view. As part of getting a solid investing foundation in place for our investing career, Ryan is going to provide some great insights into the world of finance for investors. This meeting will go into more detail looking primarily with regard to renovations covering such topics as getting your funds out of a renovation, how you get financing for more complex deals and how to fund the growth of your portfolio.

This is going to be a great session with lots of information you can use NOW for both new and experienced investors and as always a great opportunity for networking. We look forward to seeing you there.
