Hi all.

I was wanting to get my hands on results of property sales in Melbourne.

I know there's the regular Residential Auction Results in the paper and online at domain.com.au. There are also historical auction results available from Australian Property Monitors.

My question is: where do they get the info from? Is it publicly available?

What about Private sales? Results seem to be available for NSW properties but not Victorian ones. Why is that?

Ta.

Vic has PRISM - only available to RE agents and valuers.
perhaps we could do a deal somewhere to gain access

Do a deal? What kind of deal?

What details does PRISM have?

Adam,

PRISM is a Vic Gov system for properties sold across the state - list prices as well as the basic description of dwelling.

one could enter into arrangement with a RE agent for access to this system in return for business etc?!

This Prism thing sounds great, never heard of it before, is it better than RP Data, or Realtor??

Hey, I just remembered, I'm an Agent!!!

Anyone interested, let me know, maybe we can do something...

Asyral!

Looks like no public access - agents only, as everyone has said.

Just to note that that URL should be:

www.land.vic.gov.au

Lots of interesting info here...
