property title put in wrong name

Hi, my last IP was put in myself and wife's
name and should have only been put in my name as my new account has just found out
has anyone had this happen and knows of a way to fix this

Depending upon which sate you are in, this should be a simple process that will not cost you much at all to change. Have a talk with your solicitor or conveyancer.

In VIC we have transferred title from my wife to myself (long story) at very little expense.

In QLD. (even longer story) we've done exactly the same thing and we had to pay the stamp duty again . There went a cool $5K!

It's just wonderful the way the rules change from State to State !
