Public liability

From: Simon and Julie M

Hi All
I wonder if anyone can answer my question.
Public liability insurance is covered through most home insurance policies but does anyone know whether inside a unit in a body corporate building carries the same cover under its building insurance policy or is it necessary to take out individual cover?
regards Simon

Hi Simon and Julie,
Good question, my understanding is that the body corporate insurance covers all common areas whereas you should have home insurance cover for your own unit as anything that happens inside your 4 walls is your responsibility, please correct me if im wrong.

Hi Simon and Julie,

Body Corp Insurance only covers the exteria and common ground. Inside the unit/flat you need contents insurance.

If I can help more see me at http://www.lowcostservices.com.au

Hi Ashley,

Are you connected to G & G Realty or just share the same office space?
