Purchasing in Success, Atwell, Hammond Park

Hi,

A friend of mine put me on to this forum recently as I am currently in the market for a home to live in around the Cockburn precinct in Perth and was looking for any advise.

My preferred destination is Success, Atwell or Hammond Park, wondering if anyone has any advise regarding potential future growth, what I should be expecting to get for a max of $530k and if this area would be a sound investment should we look to upsize in 5-7 years?? Currently looking for a 3x2 with decent yard but would consider a 4x2 if the right one came along in the price range.

There appears to be a lot of homes listed with an asking price around the $550-$560k mark, would you expect an offer around the low $500s would be competitve in the current climate??
