QLD Land title fee 7900

this morning I checked the balances and one of my loan accounts was charged a "QLD Land Title fee 7900" for about $2900.

Given I haven't purchased a house / land for about 3 years or refinanced in that time - any one got any idea what this is?

I called the bank - they pointed the finger at the QLD Land title office. Duh. but why? no bills were sent, no warnings - just a whopping lift out of the account.

Any ideas what I should do here?

2 days ago, one of my accounts was also charged $1580, with a description saying Land Titles Fee 7900. Does anyone have any idea about this?

The 7900 is a CBA code for their processing centre. It's probably a case that they didn't do it at settlement
