Hi,
I have just bought my first residential IP,
(Outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne)
a 38 year old house on a large block with
very good location to train & shops.
(with enough room to build a unit or two in
the future).
I understand a Quantity Surveyor should be
used for newer buildings, but with an older
house is it still necessary ?
Does the cost effectiveness of allowable
deductions diminish to a point where after
"x" years it is not worthwhile to use a QS ?
Regards,
Trevor
