I live and buy in regional areas.
I go through Mel Demarco at JustUs lawyers.

They're based in brisbane, but I find very handy and competitive. The kind of folks who'll call you from home to let you know to make sure you've already secured insurance on the property you're buying after seeing bushires in the are on the news. (i.e. Rockhampton deal last week - what sweeties!)

I used conveyancing works in Brisbane and the price was the best I got quoted. The service was first rate, better than I got with high paid lawyers in the past.

Can I ask what searches did they do and did you use their associated mortgage broker?
