Question About Property Development

Hi,

I will be asking the question with council on tomorrow but I thought I will get advise/opinions from here first. I am looking at a property which is zoned for Residential Multi Dwelling. However the minimum lot size for RMD is specified at 750m2 and this particular property has a lot size of 720m2.

Is it possible that the council might allow multi dwelling since the lot is short by only 30m2?

In WA, if it's a corner block then you can add back the truncation to th e site area. Else you can apply for a 5% variation which is up to the discretion of the council.
