quick reno

Partner is getting his house ready for sale and doing a quick reno. Has been rented for 8 years and hard to get tenants out, but finally readyto go. Ceiling in garage needs to be replaced (they did not inform it was leaking) Garage door needs a bit of panelbeating. Front door has dry rot and needs to be replaced. Door and overhead feature panel on 2 storey all windows need painting. Lawns mowed, bushes trimmed, new tanbark down. Pressure clean all outdoor areas and concrete. Thought he could get away with not painting the ceilings but realised they are a pale green, so bought a compressor and spray painted all ceilings, cornices and walls with 2 coats. Spray painted laminex doors in kitchen white and replaced oven, cooktop and rangehood with stainless steel. New handles on all doors. Clean all grout in showers and floors. Took off old upstand on bench and replaced benches with new laminex ones extending out into the rumpus room a bit. Huge increase in look of size of kitchen and rumpus room. He is going to have a go at spray painting all the old vertical blinds. (2 people I know have done this with good success) Rip up old floating floor and lay cream shiny porcelain in entry, and new carpet throughout. Time frame - 2 weeks, then on the market!
