Raising Ceiling Height

Hi there,

I am wondering how extensive a project is to raise the ceiling height on a top floor with a aluminium roof on timber beams. The walls are brick. The house is a 50's style home.

Is this even something i should contemplating discussing with architect/builder, or is the cost very high vs return?

It would be very expensive, you would likely have to remove the whole roof structure.
