RBA Cuts Rates

Breaking news: The Reserve Bank of Australia has cut rates from 2.75% p.a. to 2.50% p.a.

The Reserve Bank of Australia has confirmed they are dropping the interest rate to 2.50% p.a., bringing an end to the three month hold at 2.75% p.a.

I don't think the RBA had any choice...I will be really interested in how business sales goes after the election.

Incidently we have a SMSF term deposit due the end of this month, looks like I will have stop being lazy and buy some more shares as a return of sub 4% on cash is too low.

Of course % return from IP goes up a touch so a nice balance.
