Seriously, is it not amazing that with even these low rates, and given even the average people get 0.7% off so we are talking 5.2% ish that property, jobs, inflation has NOT gone crazy.

Could you elaborate, I don't understand what you mean?

that was mid 1980's any money invested in fixed term rates were paid at around 10%,money lent was around or above 18% not that it means anything in today terms,..

ANZ borrowers must be happy, rates cut by .27%. (me )

Their SVR now 6.13% which is the lowest of the big four and same as NAB.

Sure am, just settled on an ip, this will come close to making that one neutral from day one. Its a big saving across the portfolio, murpheys law I just fixed 400k on my ppor at 5.1. Not complaining though
