I am interested in purchasing an old (2BR, lounge dinning, kitchen, sun room)weatherboard house as an IP to renovate and sub divide. One problem is that the house needs re stumping. Could someone give me a ball park figure for the cost of stumping.

Friends of mine are re-stumping their place and it's going to cost around $1500, but that was only to replace 6 stumps and re-level the house.

Howdy there,

my old man re-stumped his entire house, being around the 12square mark (3 bedroom), replacing all stumps to concrete ones & lifting the house & also levelling, charged him $1800... We did get quotes over $2500, but get your local paper & ring a few to get the best possible price...

Cheers,

Manny.

Hi

Last year I had an IP re stumped and levelled using a new type of concrete stump with an adjustable levelling bracket at the top.
The IP is about 13 squares and the job cost me a total of $2.200 all up.
They also had to replace a few bearers.
Eastern suburbs Melbourne Area.

I would highly recommend the people that did the work for me.
If interested, email me.

regards
Jakk
