Well! By hook, by crook, I've done it - I've just bought an investment property in Tasmania!! After looking for a year and researching everywhere from Lake Macquarie to Lithgow, I've settled on a shack in a beach suburb of Hobart. A rather stunning feat, 1 week before pre approval runs out... sole parent, small income etc, etc. I'm on the bus! And moving back to Tassie! Yippee! I'm planning to rent out my house near Lawson in the Blue Mountains. Can anyone recommend a good property manager? So I can spend the day collecting shells and building sandcastles with my son, and not worrying about real estate in the Blue Mountains?
