Removing paint from aluminium window frames

My house has been newly painted, although the previous owners that painted the house got a bit excited or lazy with the brush around the windows and there are marks on the frames.

Whats the best method to remove the paint from the frames? Its not a dab here and there, fill brush strokes around the frame :(

Ideas that have come to mind are nail polish remover, turps, scraper / blade or even graffiti remover?

are they powder coated or not, powder coat is very tough , if the paint is new you could scrape them, but if they are clear anadised , try a little paint stripper.

First try to spray soapy water ,leave it sit for a while ,then wipe with a scourer.
If it doesn't move then thinners will take it off.
Remember it will strip paint off so be careful you don't get it on the other paint.Tape off the areas if necessary.

Thanks painter. Is it worth trying stuff like graffitti removwer, nail polish remover and the like?

The surrounding timber frames are freshly painted. The paint on the windows are from a previous paint job. Should I wait a few more days for the new paint to fully try and harden?
Or just be done with it and then touchup afterwards?

That pretty well what thinners is.
Use it sparingly and keep it off the new paint.
A dab on cotton wool will also do the job.
