I am currently thinking of setting up a website dedicated to home renovations. Show of hands, would anyone be interested and believe this may help them. I know people ask at times about renovations on the site, but this site would be be totally devoted to home renovations. It would include tips and tricks, articles, latest technologies etc. Thanks.

Cheers
Greg

Greg
Absolutely

Before and afters with value before and after would be great. Something for the imagination - not everyone has it.

Excellent idea.

Ditto the above. An excellent idea. The before and after shots with valuations would be a priceless creative resource!

Shall do. Plus being a qualified Civil Engineer with domestic design experience you will get my advice as well. I intend to make this a resource which will include structural engineers, interior designers, architects.

Sounds like a good idea.

In fact you may be able to subsidise some of the costs involved with running a website with targeted advertising like:

Hire companies that rent out sanders, spray guns, home reno type equipment
Mitre 10s, Hardware house and various supply companies.

You get enough hits on your site the more someone will pay to advertise on your site and if you are getting click throughs to the advertisers site and you can prove it then even better. Could even become a nice little money earning business helping fund your reno projects and IP purchases.

Just my thoughts

Kevin
