Rent protection and malicious damage insurance

Hello everyone.

I'm looking at reviewing my IP insurances. Can anyone offer any good insurer for rent protection and malicious damage cover? I'd appreciate some names/numbers, and your reasons for recommending them.

CGU Insurance Melbourne (03) 9601 8133

and

REI Insurance Brokers (look up www.reiv.com.au for contact details)

both have excellent, cheap insurance cover for landlords. You can insure the building, landlord contents (carpet, lightfittings, whatever), default by the tenant (if they do a runner you are covered for the life of the lease/up to 52 weeks), loss of rent if building uninhabitable, malicious damage, and most important, public liability, for not much money at all.

Can highly recommend CGU
