Do you have any plans to incorperate a Rental
Income/Expenditure section to your excelent
programe.
have been considering Propert Manager Pro
which is easy to use, but would prefer to
stick to one product.Samc

We have had many requests for rental management software but there are several reasons why we have not devoted time and resources to developing it.

1. We haven't needed specialised software to manage our portfolio and so haven't been as motivated as we might otherwise have been. We get by with relatively simple spreadsheets to track the properties and rely on our property managers for the annual accounting summaries.

2. Personally, it (writing accounting software) does not represent much of an intellectual challenge and you would have to question your motives for doing it.

3. Given the above, why re-invent the wheel? Already, there would appear to be quite a lot of software out there that will do the job. I haven't used any of it but one that I have seen that is definitely worth a look is called Rent Right. It is from the US but you can download a demo from www.rent-right.com.
