Rental inspections and application procedures

Hi All,

I was wondering if someone can tell me what is the usual practise when it comes to renting a vacant property. When enquiries are made at a RE office and inspections are conducted - it is common practise to inform the landlord of inspections when they occur or only once an application is submitted for my approval?

Not usually, although it depends on the PM.

They'll usually only call you when there is an application.

In the two times my unit has been rented out, the PM has only called when there is a potential tenant.
