Rental Yeild

Went to a Steve Navra and his rental reality seemed a good guide for the purchase price. Especially in this hot market.
How ever I can't get my hands on either a 3 yr or 5 yr % yeild. Steve suggested Residex or REIQ. I've tried Residex, REQI, RTA, ABR, internet search, a few dot coms and have struck zippo. Have contacted Navra Financial Services but no reply. Residex do provide a 10 yr average but this seems to long a time frame and would give a statistical/mathematical error.

Does any one know where to get these figures, preferably on a postcode by postcode basis?

Steve mentioned you had to pay for the 5 year figures remember???
Perhaps just use the ten year figures and devide by 2.

Residex provide rental yield and capital growth for each of the last ten years so it's all there. This is in their Residential Property Return report costing $68.50 per city. (see example on the residex site). Don't know of any free information.

Hi all,

From what I can see, Residex is only available in Victoria, NSW and Queensland. Does anyone know of any WA / Perth alternatives?

-Thanks in advance.
