Replacing Yellow Windows

Hi I'm after peoples opinions on if I should replace these yellow windows before advertising as a rental. 5 in total.

I believe it makes the place look older and less attractive.

I've got a quote of $370 to cut out new windows. I will install them myself.

Do you think it is worth it?

Definitely worth doing. As it is down low, you will need to install safety glass (laminated or toughened) not float glass.

I actually like the privacy offered by the frosting.
And they're not hiding much of a view
As a tenant, I'd be pretty indifferent.

I reckon they are era appropriate and I'd be spending my money elsewhere.

I have them as well and am about to cut them out, my rea says it makes it look dated. I have never removed a window before but looks like you just pull off the seal, wedge it out and then how's your father will let you know how this tragic event unfolds this weekend

^ ^ what he said, unless you also paint out the timber trim on the skirting boards and doors with white gloss.

I'd replace those panels and potentially look at adding modern Venetians too, to further modernise.

Well I replaced them and they look much better. (Pic a bit bright)

The next door neighbour still has them so you can really see the difference.
