Revolving Line of credit

Hi I am new to the forum and to buying investment property.
After reading Jan's books I have tried to get a revolving line of credit with the bank that we have our Principle property with and I have been told that I need to produce Quotes for whatever we intend to do with the money. I was wondering if anyone else has had any problems of this nature?

Un geared share portfolio or maybe a "bargain" property.

You might need to move lenders because cash out at the moment isnt liked by many
