I was at a friends place yesterday and was impressed with this area,close to city,trains,shops,motorways etc.

The reason I believe the price reduction in this area is because lots of roadworks are happening on Brisbane Road,some big blocks available over 1000m for subdivision potential.

I found this one that might make a good buy.
I haven't looked into it personally,just mainly recommending the area and using this one as an example.

Might be just what your signature relates to.

I haven't done much research on this area, but it is one I want to get to and look at closer.

Without doing any DD, I have got email alerts for the greater ipswich area, and will be trying to hunt one down in the area this year.

Painter, Am not aware of what you can do with the land under the areas town plan, so don't know. Anything that allows for future development / dual occupancy / subdivide / configuration of a lot is always a handy piece of land to have up your sleeve......especially when it is over 1000m2.
