This is not a poll, but I'd like to find out what people in Sydney consider being a reasonable legal expense when buying a property. I used 3 solicitors so far and wouldn't recommend any of them even to an enemy. I always end up paying about $1500+ and feel that this is far too much. This figure includes work on contract, work on mortgage, searches, disbursements, and GST.
