Same for SYD

This is not a poll, but I'd like to find out what people in Sydney consider being a reasonable legal expense when buying a property. I used 3 solicitors so far and wouldn't recommend any of them even to an enemy. I always end up paying about $1500+ and feel that this is far too much. This figure includes work on contract, work on mortgage, searches, disbursements, and GST.

My solicitor charges me less than half that per conveyance, but I give them alot of my business, and I refer alot of ppl to them.
