Clause 3.5 (2)(d) of the General Housing Code excludes ancillary development attached to a secondary dwelling. Can you confirm if I've interpreted that correctly?

Yes that's correct James.
You can, though, attach Ancillary Development that is 'Exempt Development' .

The Clause you're referring to only applies to specified 'Complying Development' types.
