sewer(NSW) - encase or relocate

i am doing a subdivision at the moment

for those with experience with sewers

is it generally cheaper to encase or to relocate a sewer ?

(i think i have to relocate/encase about 20m of sewer )

it will almost certainly be cheaper to encase sewer with concrete than relocate elsewhere

how deep? If quite deep, would the relocation be to a shallower line? It may be cheaper to abandon the existing line and put a new one in thandig down and encase. Pm me with a sketch and i can have a closer look plus get some rough costs

Consider designing around the sewer to minimise the lost potential. If you don't need to touch it, all the better.

I have been provided quotes of $20-25k to relocate a sewer line in Gladstone to give you a ballpark cost figure. I understand the council don't approve of encasing them there.
