So what does everyone here do for a living?

I solve problems. Most of the time, that involves using computers and writing programs for my employer and our clients. In short, programmer.

I was a SDM ( S* Delivery Manager/Man ). S could be a number of things.. pls use your imagination.
I am now a professional farmer growing rice in my backyard because I am asian and once asked for a pay rise and my boss went " i can pay your rice, but no rise'. lol

I also solve problems. Today I solved "I'll put the cans of beans in the bottom of the bag, and the bread on top."

- The Slight Edge

That's impressive. I think I just travel & dabble in property a bit....I'd like it to be more & full-time. I'm really interested in hearing from those who are smart enough/ organized enough/ disciplined enough/ all of the previous to achieve playing Monopoly full-time with their portfolio. Esp interested in foreclosure buying/ success tips & someone's comments that they consistently achieve K$100+ growth/year in Sydney. Yes - the "rich" in richskeptic is rich in friendship, happiness etc & v v small in property.

My hubby would say I travel for a living (well I do for 4 months a year).

I "earn" a living from teaching and property.

Every year I up the time spent on travel and property and down grade the time spent teaching. :D

Soon the first will be so time consuming I won't have time for the last.:D

Not IT savvy enough for chat room tho :(

I spend Monday - Friday chasing kids as a school principal, and the weekends chasing cows as a cattle farmer. Kids are much more obedient, but you can whack the cows to pull them into line. :D

Charlie&Kath... Grenfell???

Everyone's just convinced me how easy job descriptions sound when you simplify them like that.
Next time someone asks me I'm going to say that I shuffle paper, write emails and store a bunch of keys in my office :)

I shuffle money around between different accounts and banks, pay few bills and vendors and when everything is gone, I go home :)

I teach 15 year olds for six hours a day and would like to have my own cow (goat, I'm lactose intolerant) and a horse and a trail bike. My husband would like a fishing boat. I would like an electric cattle prod for use at school. I do four hours a week unpaid so that I can have ten and a half weeks off every year.
