If Joo Joo's coming I will definitely try to get there, but may not be able, since I guess I fall into the old fart category...

I look forward to meeting you... many friends have begun in adversity! But my question is, do you want to make friends of us pack of bragging old farts?

Rob, wasn't Yuchie organising it...?

Will really try to get there..
Count me in for a T-Shirt anyway...

Joo Joo,

Your post was not designed to make friends, if you dont want to make friends with likeminded people, why even bother to come to Sydney for a night out?

Actually I don't drink much. I find I don't have to - I fit right in with all the drunk people - and I just sway in time with them so they don't get too sick when talking to me.

It's amazing what you can learn about people when they've had too much to drink. They may not reveal their innermost secrets to you, but you will at least be able to find out what they really think of you ! ... and everyone else for that matter !

Gee... from the enthusiastic reaction so far I would suggest that you lot don't get out enough !

;-)

Sim,

I can guarantee you that Mich will have no problems talking all night, the problem is: will we be sober enough to listen to him? :p

Oh. No. It's gonna hurt his ego big time...

Sim , the reason you don't get drunk , is that you haven't mastered the art of talking and drinking at the same time.

Rob seems to have that down pat.

Book me in see change

it's better to be guided by your dreams than your fears

I find it a bit sad that one of the busiest threads on this forum is about a pub crawl
Keep smiling

Hello again!

Someone mentioned proving the costs as a tax deduction . . . well, there is a little known rule that allows you to claim a tax deduction without receipts if the total is below $200 and each expense is below $10 per time.

At this rate, the $10 per time is easy enough, the only problem is whether or not the $200 will run out before we do!!

Have fun

Dale

Peoples,

If we're going to do this right, might as well hire a mini or two, work out where we need to park the van(s) factor that into the cost of hire for the night and see if its cheaper than a taxi.

Of course you have to weigh up the difference between going home in a taxi by yourself or being driven home with a group of drunken rowdy people to your doorstep.

And yes I'll put my hand up as one of the drivers :p

Michael G

p.s. I once heard a rule that who ever is designated driver, is shouted free juice or softdrinks for the night?

I can over come that little problem Michael.

I have parking on Pitt St, Circular Quay end of town. But some of us might as well catch a train into town. That is of cause if we are doing the "George St Pub Crawl".

Yes, desinated drivers get a stamp and free softdrinks.

A crawl in the city is better than one in St Leonards, and mini buses
won't be needed because evertying is close
